Hyacinth strives to make gowns as effortless as the women who wear them. The Hyacinth bride is romantic and feminine while remaining fearless. With a seamless blend of modern minimalism, each gown is handcrafted in our South Dakota studio and features a heavy emphasis on style and quality.
Hello lovelies! I'm Jessica - the coffee obsessed, sewaholic, lead designer here at Hyacinth. I've been sewing since my grandmother first taught me at five, something I will always be thankful for. I've always loved creating and sewing clothes, but after my oldest daughter was born, the beauty of bridal gowns inspired me to transition to the bridal world, where I've found my home for the last ten years.
Over the years, I've found who I am as a designer in this field and really created not only a brand, but a company and family that makes me love going to work each day, and proud to be my little ones' mom.
No industry is perfect - the bridal market included. In everything I do, I strive to maintain ethical practices. An ethically produced bridal line should not have to sacrifice style - which is why I pour my heart into every gown my small team and I hand-make here in the Midwest.

I live in eastern South Dakota with my husband and two beautiful daughters.
All of our gowns are completely made in our 900 square foot downtown studio, from initial sketch all the way to packing and shipping.
I love and collect vintage sewing books and machines.
I love listening to documentaries while I create my gowns (weird? Probably.).
I have a deep-rooted desire to live in the mountains.
My oldest daughter tends to make appearances at the studio and helps me design and drape fabric, constantly inspiring my collections.
